July is Kid’s Month at Grameen Foundation!

By grameenfoundation

Children, BoliviaNext month’s Grameen Foundation e-newsletter will feature kids and young adults from all over the world talking about poverty. We will share video blogs from a group of high school and college students who recently visited Morocco to witness microfinance first-hand. We will include games, client stories and other interactive content for kids. And, we want to hear from YOUR kids, too!

Ask your kid! How will YOU end poverty?

Answers will appear in the July Grameen Foundation e-newsletter. Please include your child’s first name, age, and hometown with response.

I am so glad to have found your website on my blog~! You are doing wonderful things to help people like me to get established in business . You give me hope as I have been struggling online seeking ways to establish my own business in art & art printing since I am homebound on disability and now am trying to become self sufficient and will always keep trying. I have done mostly charity artwork over the last several years and have been helping other struggling artists by building websites that they can show their art free on and try to sell.My son James is also disabled and my youngest son, Kyle has been unemployed since February as we struggle to manage right here in the USA yet appreciate we have it so much better than those in 3rd world countries but to visit us you may wonder as we really have a hard time too. I have 5 children and 11 grandchildren. My oldest daughter Sharran’s husband have 8 children ages 11-0 and he just got laid off [again] & lacks the tools needed to go into business for himself as a welder. They are selling possessions to make their rent this month and I couldnt help them, but desperately wanted to. Where will they go with 8 kids, if they lose their home? I am in danger of losing my home to as an emergency medical bill for my cat made me short on rent. I think life is hard for people all around the world and even in pockets of America too like where I live.
Still even if you do all your work overseas, I am glad to see that there is help out there for those in need whereever they may be and wish them the best in opportunities to become successful. I wil still continue to work 20+ hours a day painting and printing and searching online for ways to make my business grow to where someday I can take care of my family and myself independently.
Keep up your good works as you remain in my thoughts and prayers~
